Position : Marketing ManagerThe position duties
- Under the supervision of both the Dubai head office VP of Sales and the Uganda based Country Manager the female/male candidate will be the interface between the companies we represent and our clients in Uganda.
- In that frame she/he will assume the following duties :
- Being able to propose to his hierarchy a marketing strategy along with the corresponding budgeted media plan (including digital and social medias) choosing the right suppliers for each media.
- Being able to develop contents for all medias including digital.
- Implementation, development, follow up, impact study and feedback of all marketing actions to the management.
- Proposing commercial targets to the hierarchy which will be applied to the sales force of the company.
- Brands launching, products launching, training the company sales team along with the clients sales forces.
- Creating adapted tools such as products training cards.
- Organizing and managing on field promotional actions with clients and partners and ensure the visibility and the good image of the company on the market.
- Study of the communication and marketing actions of competitors.
- The female/male candidate will also be in charge of the internal and external communication of the company.
Required profile for job ad : Marketing Manager The candidate education
- Must have studied in the fields of marketing, communication and sales with the corresponding degree.
- Fully skilled in English with a high level written, spoken and read, French would be a plus.
- Proven computer skills (Microsoft suite including World, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Paint),
- Adobe photoshop and other creation programs would be a plus.
The candidate work experience and background
- Good knowledge of the beauty, cosmetics and personal care environment.
- Excellent knowledge of local distribution channels such as pharmacies, supermarkets, wholesalers, perfumes, beauty and cosmetic shops.
- Working knowledge of merchandising technics.
- Good network of contacts with local suppliers for all media production (prints and other advertising materials).
- Knowledge of local regulations and laws applied to communication in the field of beauty and cosmetics.
- At least few years of work experience in an import / distribution company in the beauty and cosmetic field.
The candidate personal skills
- The candidate must be proactive, able to seize market opportunities, curious, creative and a good listener, he must also have good sales and negotiations skills and be well presenting.
- Good knowledge of social networks and local influencers.
