Job Ad & Profile Description
Pure Grow Africa is looking for its Sales Developer, based in Kampala. A field work position, your role will be to own the entire sales process : sourcing new leads, contact and follow-up, through developing and closing business in domestic market (hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, catering, general market) and increasing the daily income of the company. You will also act as a merchandiser, by ensuring that stores are adequately stocked with company products. You will maintain relationships with clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs and anticipating new marketing opportunities. You will work closely with the other departments, to ensure that the quality, quantity and consistency of deliveries are respected.
Your duties :
- Increase the revenue through business development, targeting all kind of clients in line with the company’s strategy. Optimize sales volume and profitability by identifying profitable lines.
- Make recommendations for promotional strategies using sales and pricing data
- Commercial follow-up and client satisfaction tracking, anticipate and resolve potential problems
- Help Pure Grow Africa remain competitive by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products and merchandising techniques.
- Adress customer complaints by investigating problems, identifying root causes, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management.
- Strive toward meeting/exceeding sales goals and monthly profitability targets
- Daily coordination : work, update and provide feedback to Procurement and Operation Teams. Keep Management informed of progress with sales reports, updates and overall analyses.
- At Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree from reputable university in Marketing/Sales
- Proven work experience in B2B Sales and a deep understanding of prospecting
- Access to a network of fresh produce buyers, in-depth understanding of the dynamics of the agribusiness sector
- Integrity and ethics. Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proven commercial and sales skills, ideas creator. Quality and Result oriented. Networking and negotiation skills.
- Proactive person who has positive attitude and ability to work independently and deliver results. Energy to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused, commited to providing outstanding customer service. A love for produce, making deals and building relationships.
- Team spirit, willing to take on challenges, strong involvement, flexibility.
