Software Developer (Power Platform)

Trigyn has a contractual opportunity for Software Developer.

This resource will be deployed at our client site in Uganda.

Job Location: - Uganda

Job Description:

•  Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions using Microsoft Power Platforms
•  Develop custom solutions and interfaces leveraging Microsoft Power Platforms
•  Participate in technical design sessions; develop detailed technical solution documentation that is aligned with client business objectives
•  Build, deploy, and support Microsoft Power Platform custom applications
•  Build Analysis Services reporting models and Power BI report development
•  Convert raw data to data models and create interactive dashboards for a large scale and complex data, visual reports and KPI scorecards using Power BI dashboard
•  Implementing row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI.
•  Write Data Analysis Expression (DAX) queries in Power Bl desktop as well as using advanced-level calculations on a large scale and complex data set.
•  Any other ad-hoc task assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications, Certifications and Required skills:

•  Bachelor's degree in computer science or related filed
•  Certifications are required for Power Platform, .Net, C#, SQL, Python, etc.
•  Working experience in Azure as data engineer, should have skills in solutions to data warehousing, ETL tools, Database systems like NoSQL and SQL
•  Designing DAX and MDX queries
•  Working knowledge/familiarity with business intelligence analytical tools such as SSRS, SSAS & SSIS, R, Knime, ete, is desirable.

Experience

•  Hands-on experience working with Power Platform solutions
•  Experience building custom apps for Power Platform using Canvas and/or Model Driven frameworks
•  Hands-on experience in .Net (C#), MDX and JavaScript experience interacting with ODATA and REST endpoints for Power Platform
•  In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, SQL queries, JavaScript and Microsoft Data verse
•  Understanding of security within Power Platform applications
•  Building Analysis Services reporting models and Power BI report development
•  Convert raw data to data models and create interactive dashboards for a large-scale and complex data, visual reports and KPI scorecards using the Power BI dashboard
• Capable of implementing row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI.
•  Should have an edge over making Data Analysis Expression (DAX) queries in Power BI desktop.
•  Expert in using advanced-level calculations on the data set.
•  Experience working with business teams to gather business requirements to build solutions.
