Consultant - Procurement, Logistics and Contracts Management. (Part time)
I am currently responsible for the strengthening of Procurement and Logistics operating systems of the organization, building capacity of staff and implementing partners on best practices and compliance with donor requirements. Review all procurement related documents, advise on areas of improvement and support in their preparation for quality assurance and alignment to donor compliance. Advised on best practices, participate in annual planning, budgeting, budget monitoring and scheduling of procurements. Coordinating capacity building programmes for staff and implementing partners on proper procurement, logistics and supply chain management practices. Working on improving the procurement operations manual to ensure proper checks and balances within the system as well as transparency. Advise on best supply chain management practices. Accountable for full documentation of source documents, reports, implementation of donor rules and regulations during activities as well as ensuring audit ready files.

Procurement and Administrative Officer
While here, I was responsible for handling and executing procurement, contracts and logistics decisions, maintaining adequate component procurement stock levels, tracking procurement status and contract progress within allocated respective budget lines. My duties included; procurement planning, contract and grant coordination, quality assurance, scheduling purchases and arrivals, maintaining inventory, reviewing and placing purchase orders, stakeholder management and strategic supplier relationship management.
