The duties include: • Preparation and submission of tender documents • Preparation of all documents necessary for site handover and contract commencement, including performance guarantees, advance guarantees, schedules, method statements, quality assurance plans, health and safety etc • Mobilisation of construction teams and resources on site and establishment • Procurement of quality materials and management of project logistics • Interpretation of drawings, planning daily site activities and supervision of site construction teams, and workshop fabrications. • Management of project interfaces with clients, the community and contractor • Keeping site diary and records, and preparation of progress reports, updated schedules, payment certificates, cash flows, completion reports, and as built drawings. Currently working on construction of school classroom blocks, rainwater harvesting system and sanitary facilities in Yumbe District, a project for Save the Children International (NGO).

Worked with Coil Limited as an assistant project coordinator and later project coordinator for 3 projects including the construction of a One Stop Boarder post in Mahagi (DRC), construction of Wadelai Irrigation scheme in Packwach(Uganda), and construction of a 100m span bridge in Aleles (Palisa District, Uganda). The duties undertaken include: • Preparation of tender documents, and overseeing the bidding process for contracts, preparation of project schedules, method statements, health and safety plans, quality control/assurance plans and other necessary documents to commence site mobilisation and coordinating the same. • Interpretation of bills and drawings and preparation of material schedules to aid in procurement planning. • Preparation of contract execution documents including report templates, instruction books, change order documents, quality control documents and checklists, co-ordination procedure, progress measurement and reporting procedure, query procedure, etc. • Coordinating the execution of works on site, procurement of materials, sourcing of personnel and equipment • Monitoring time and cost performance of projects and providing relevant information to management and advising accordingly • Preparation of in-house designs of project elements • Preparation of documents in support of claims • Coordination of communication between the client, consultant the company (Contractor) and other non-privy external parties

Worked with the Civil, Mechanical and Electrical teams on various sites along the Mbarara to Nkenda power transmission line project to do surveying works, site preparations, construction of foundations, raising the lattice structures and stringing. The duties included: • Preparation of in-situ quality tests • Interpretation of drawings, setting out for foundations and general supervision of site construction activities. • Ensuring that company safety policy is implemented • Accountability for site materials usage and tools maintenance • Organising site teams and preparing weekly work plans, projected materials demand per location/site and tools needed • Holding tool box meetings on site
• Ability to plan and manage projects from the bidding process, pre-site handover, mobilisation, execution, demobilisation, handover and DLP stages. • Polished construction scheduling skills. • Ability to negotiate and reconcile differences in designs, B.O.Qs, specifications and the contract. • Well versed with software including MS Project, Primavera P6 Professional, Archicard, Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Civil3D, Lumion , Enscape Microsoft office packages, and IBM SPSS • Effective site operations planning and management, and creative resolution of site problems. • Ability to write progress reports, prepare IPCs, Cash flows, claims, as built drawings, substantial and final completion reports, keep site records, and other project documentations, and make strong and persuasive presentations to stakeholders • Excellent leadership of site teams including operators and labourers (skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled) • Basic knowledge in masonry work
