HS2 Project, UK BBV JV (Balfour Beauty and Vinci), UK is the Contractor / Client for MSD (the designer for the civil infrastructure along the Rail route of HS2). MSD is Mott MacDonald and Systra 50:50 JV on Detailed Design Phase 1 Stage 2. Brief Project Description: Phase One of HS2 is part of proposed dedicated high-speed rail service between London, Birmingham and the West Midlands. In future, Phase Two of HS2 will extend the high-speed rail network northwards to Leeds and Manchester in future. HS2 Phase One Main Works Civils Contracts (MWCC) is split into seven packages covering the Northern, Central and Southern Areas of the route, determined by HS2. Systra is responsible for three packages in Norther Area.
